After working remotely in over 30 countries and witnessing the unstoppable rise of flexible work, Juan saw an opportunity to utilize remote-work as a means to revitalize rural areas and improve work-life balance. He co-founded Rooral, a social venture that partners with small villages at risk of depopulation to create enriching teleworking experiences and restorative offsites. Juan serves as a bridge between the urban and rural worlds. In the past, success was often associated with leaving one's village behind. Rooral is supporting remote workers to go back and rediscover the forgotten essence of our roots.
